Virastatin

When formulated with extra Vitamin C, it has actually been found to be much safer than either cinnamon oil or clove oil. In fact in a laboratory study, Virastatin and Vitamin C significantly extended the life of liver cells!

A purified & standardized extract of Larrea tridentata leaf resin U.S. Patent 5,837,252 was tested for safety along side not only cinnamon oil and clove oil but also the synthetic preservatives BHA and BHT, which were chosen for their similarity in structure and metabolism.

Results showed that this larrea-tridentata extract alone, is as safe as both oils and much safer than all tested substances when formulated with five-five fold excess of absorbic acid (Vitamin C)

Since 1996, tens of thousands of medical practitioners and consumers around the world have used both topical skin products and dietary supplements containing this patented larrea extract. Not surprisingly, tremendous consumer acceptance and testimonials have been reported.

While there are other Larrea-based products on the market, these products do not produce the same anti viral results as Virastatin and their performance is limited because the products are not readily absorbed into the digestive tract.
